Learn to design without configuring. Start today.
The ENSLD Design Bootcamp turns every exam topic into a real company with real constraints. Messages from managers, departments and suppliers change the picture while you work, exactly like the CCDE practical. Order now, start the first use case in minutes, and arrive at the lab week ready to defend a design.

Knowledge, and the structure to use it.
A study guide before every case
93 topics that take you from the foundation to the designer's trade-offs, with the assumptions that fail and 186 self-checks. New to a technology? You learn it before the case tests it.
12 design use cases
115 situations across all five ENSLD domains. Every wrong answer shows what your design would break and which assumption led you there.
Messages and changes of plan
Emails, call notes and letters from management, departments and third parties. Some of them make a correct earlier decision wrong, and you redesign.
Protocol choices
Situations where several protocols could work in general, and only one meets this customer’s requirements.
Six guided weeks
Two use cases per week, a kickoff call, a Week 3 check-in and a readiness check at the end of Week 5.
A CCDE-style capstone
Fourteen situations, three changes of plan, played once under exam conditions in Week 6.
Five days in Lelystad
New timed scenarios at the whiteboard, a design defence, and max. eight students with your instructor.
This is what a decision looks like.
The first situation of use case 1.01, exactly as it appears in the Lab Room. Choose an answer; a wrong one shows what it would break.
The customer’s requirements (6)
- R1 A failure in one region must not cause SPF or CPU impact in the other regions.
- R2 Branch routers carry the smallest possible routing table. No hardware replacement this year.
- R3 Area 0 carries one IPv4 summary per region.
- R4 IPv6 at every site within 18 months, without destabilizing IPv4.
- R5 Integrate Brightwater’s 80 branches within 6 months, with as few new protocols for the team as possible.
- R6 The design must grow to 300 branches within 5 years.
Voice in South dropped again during the 10:00 sales call, and the radio links in North flapped three times this morning. Please don’t tell me to replace 120 routers: there is no budget this year.
What is actually wrong?
Your first week. You pull monitoring data from a branch in South that has never had a local problem.
South branch S-B17, last 24 hours SPF runs .................. 140 (all full SPF) LSAs in database .......... 4,812 CPU during SPF ............ 90% for ~4 s Local link changes ........ 0
The branch has had zero local changes, yet it ran a full SPF 140 times.
What is the primary design problem?
From today to the lab week

Can I really start today?
Yes. After payment you get your Lab Room login on the next page, and the use cases are available immediately. The guided weeks start on Mon 4 Jan 2027.
How much time do I need?
Plan 6–8 hours per week during the six guided weeks. Each use case takes 45–70 minutes the first time; the capstone 2–2.5 hours.
What if I am not ready in Week 5?
Then we advise you to move to the next intake, free of charge. You keep your Lab Room access.
Do I need lab equipment?
No. Design use cases are about decisions, not configuration. A laptop and a browser are enough; the lab week provides the rest.
Is this Cisco material?
No. All scenarios are written by Network Design Academy. Nothing comes from Cisco courseware or exam content. Network Design Academy is independent of Cisco.
