A full simulation in Lelystad is as close to lab day as preparation gets: an unfamiliar topology, eight hours, no hints — and an instructor review that turns every lost point into a lesson.

Many students travel from across Europe for an intensive week. We share practical guidance with every confirmed booking.
By air
Most international students fly into Amsterdam Schiphol and continue by train or car. Exact route guidance is provided with your booking.
Accommodation
We recommend nearby hotels and apartments suitable for a focused training week, and can help you arrange a stay.
Everything else
Coffee, lunch on training days and a quiet lounge for breaks and debriefs. You bring a laptop and focus.

Campus questions
Do I need to be at a certain level before attending?
For the Lab Intensive we recommend Level 4 (Architect) or above on our readiness scale. The pre-campus assessment confirms fit — if you're not ready yet, we'll tell you honestly and give you an online plan.
What language is the training delivered in?
Both English and Dutch. Mixed international cohorts are taught in English; coaching and individual feedback can always be in Dutch.
What should I bring?
A laptop, your notes and your readiness report. Workstations, lab access and refreshments are provided.
Can my employer pay and receive an invoice?
Yes. We issue business invoices, and training for teams can be arranged through our corporate programs.
What happens after the week?
You get a performance report and a personalised set of online scenarios. Many students return for a simulation day closer to their lab date.

No. Network Design Academy is an independent training provider. Our scenarios and methodology are our own.
